From Aikido to wind-surfing: At TU Sports , there’s something for everyone. The sports program includes more than 1,000 options - from weekly courses to workshops, casual groups and trips, and tournaments and competitions.
The Modern Language Center
(ZEMS)  offers general and subject-oriented language courses for
students of all faculties. For foreign students, there are courses in
German as a Foreign Language (DaF). At the ZEMS, it is possible to
complete recognized language courses and certificates.
The Sprach- und Kulturbörse  is a TU Berlin institution to support cultural and linguistic exchange. It brings together around 100 members from more than 40 countries. For all students and employees of Berlin universities and alumni of the TU Berlin, the Sprach- und Kulturbörse offers events and educational opportunities in the area of language and culture: This includes language courses and cafés, a “language tandem”, and excursions.
The Collegium Musicum  is an institution at the two Berlin universities FU and TU. It is made up of five ensembles: Large Choir, Chamber Choir, Symphony Orchestra, Small Symphony Orchestra, and Uni Bigband Berlin. The members, currently around 500 people, are students of all subjects who devote their free time to music. Rehearsals are for performances at the end of the semester.
The TU Berlin’s Movieclub (“Unikino ”) shows films at a low price on Thursdays during the lecture period.
Unirad  is a self-help workshop for repairing bikes operated by volunteer students from the TU Berlin. Students and other TU members can use the Unirad workshop for a low fee.
